in
conjunction with The 2009 International Conference on Security Technology
(SecTech 2009)
Devices
with wireless data transfer are an integral part of our day life.
The wireless conection is used e.g. for GSM, WiFi, electronic weather
forecast stations, remote control of models or other devices, data
transfer from industrial sensors etc. Some data transfers are critical,
for example in surgery, petrochemical or aeronautical industry.
Such wireless data transfer has to be safe and secure, with very
low electromagnetic influence to the neighbourhood. If more components
are wireless connected together, we obtain a wireless network. This
network is created very often ad-hoc and the inaccessability of
a node or failure must not destabilize the network. The functionality
of such network has to be always ensured. Nevertheless, one very
important aspect is not only the reliability of data transfer, but
it is the data security, i.e. that data in a plain text form will
not be revealed.
Topic

- antennas
- signal (de)modulation units
- protocols
- applications of wireless networks
- attacks on wireless networks
- agents and multiagents in wireless networks
- security and secure protocols
- data encryption/decryption - and more other
