The 2010 Conference on Grid and Distributed Computing will be held on December 13 ~ 15, 2010 in International Convention Center Jeju, Jeju Island, Korea.

GDC 2010 will be the most comprehensive Conference focused on the various aspects of advances in Grid and Distributed Computing. Our Conference provides a chance for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of Grid and Distributed Computing.

The goal of this Conference is to bring together the researchers from academia and industry as well as practitioners to share ideas, problems and solutions relating to the multifaceted aspects of Database Theory and Application.

All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings: LNCS/CCIS series (indexed by EI and others) published by Springer Verlag (confirmed). And some papers selected will be included in some journals.


Our Conference provides a chance for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of Grid and Distributed Computing.

Call for Papers


Call For Special Session

Several special sessions will be held in conjunction with GDC 2010 with the aim to explore special topics and provide international forums for scientists, engineers, and experts to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results on hot topics.

All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings: LNCS/CCIS series (indexed by EI and others) published by Springer Verlag (confirmed). And some papers selected will be included in some journals.

The special session proposal should include following information:

1. Title of the special session: Special Session on ...
2. Special Session chair (s): name, affiliation, address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail.
3. Brief description of the Special Session (several hundred words)
4. Expected number of papers to be submitted
5. Call for paper of Special Session (draft version)
6. Tentative list of program committee members (Name, affiliation, country, and email address)

Each Special Session will start to distribute a call for paper after receiving the notification. Papers submitted to each Special Session will be reviewed by the Special Session committee.

Financial Support for Special Session Organizer:

If special sessions are constructed successfully, the organizers will get:

  • At least 5 papers registration: 1 Free registration.
  • At least 10 papers registration: 2 Free registrations.

Important Dates

  • Special Session Proposal Due: August 10, 2010
  • Acceptance Notification for Special Session: August 15, 2010
  • Camera Ready Submission and Registration Due: September 10, 2010

Each special session chair can decide his/her own paper submission due. But special session chairs should submit accepted paper list to Session Management Chair.
