Special Sessions are sessions on specific topics proposed, organized and chaired by prominent senior researchers, who have a special interest in the topic of the special session.
The Special Session Chair(s) are then responsible for introducing and refereeing at least 8 quality papers for the session. Researchers with an established reputation in the field or those who can demonstrate promising new research avenues will have authored the papers. Special Session Chairs must present evidence of reviewing of papers to the General Chairs and Conference Secretariat. They must also chair the Special Session at the conference.
Organizers of Special Sessions undertake to:
Select a topic of interest to conference delegates.
Distribute a Call for Papers for the special session.
Have the authority to secure at least 8 high quality papers for the session.
Have these papers carefully reviewed by at least two experts and fully report the results of reviews and reviewers to the chairs for their ultimate approval.
Ensure that checked final camera-ready papers are supplied to the conference Secretariat by the deadline, following the instructions that will be provided.
At least one session chair for each special session must attend the conference to chair the special session.

When the two reviews are complete, based on the outcome of the reviews, the chairs must decide about whether the paper is accepted without change, rejected, or accepted subject to specified modifications. Please keep the goals of the conference in mind when making the call and reviewing the papers of your special session.
