The rapid advances in computer graphics, multimedia and security technologies
have heralded a new age of explosive growth in multimedia applications,
such as interactive 3D game, video blogging, and other applications. The
past decade has witnessed a proliferation of powerful multimedia systems
and an increasing demand for practice of computer graphics, multimedia
and security (CGMS). CGMS has moved into the mainstream of multimedia
and has become a key technology in determining future research and development
activities in many academic and industrial branches, especially when the
solution of multimedia, graphics processing and security issue.
The 2009 International Workshop on Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Security
(CGMS-09) will be held in conjunction with ISA-09 in Korea University,
Seoul, Korea, June 25-27, 2009, It will provide a forum for engineers
and scientists in academia, industry, and government to address the resulting
profound challenges and to present and discuss their new ideas, research
results, applications and experience on all aspects of computer graphics,
multimedia and security.
Our workshop provides a chance for academic and industry
professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of Computer Graphics,
Multimedia and Security. Suggested topics include (but are not limited
to):

-Geometric algorithms
-2D and 3D game issue
-Digital rights management for multimedia
-Secure multimedia transcoding in communication
-Secure multimedia content sharing in P2P network
-Security in mobile TV
-Security in IPTV
-Secure multimedia broadcasting over wireless networks

Deadline for Paper Submission: February 20, 2009 (Extended)
Notification of Review Results: March 23, 2009
Deadline for Camera-Ready version: April 03, 2009
Conference: Jun 25~27, 2009
Submission of Papers
All accepted papers will be included in the conference
proceedings published by IEEE CS (indexed by EI).
Authors should submit paper with about 4 pages (short paper), 6 pages
(regular paper) or 8 pages (full paper: 2 pages extra charge) by using
online systems for review. Please use IEEE CS paper format.
Submission system: TBA
Distinguished papers that have been presented at CGMS-09 will be selected
for publication in Special Issue of the international journal (IJSIP or
IET Image Processing).
