The past decade has witnessed a proliferation of powerful multimedia systems and an increasing demand for practice of computer graphics, multimedia and security (CGMS). CGMS has moved into the mainstream of multimedia and has become a key technology in determining future research and development activities in many academic and industrial branches, especially when the solution of multimedia, graphics processing and security issue. The 2009 International Workshop on Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Security (CGMS-09) will be held in conjunction with ISA-09 in Korea University, Seoul, Korea, June 25-27, 2009, It will provide a forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to address the resulting profound challenges and to present and discuss their new ideas, research results, applications and experience on all aspects of computer graphics, multimedia and security. Our workshop provides a chance for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Security.
